Ken and Beryl were good friends of my family ( I being the youngest son) over many years in Kuwait, England and Spain. Ken was always cheerful, energetic, good natured and a great person to be with - not only that but he and Beryl were wonderful with my mother, in her last difficult years, when they came to Spain to stay in their finca, adjacent to my mother's. It is difficult to come to terms with him not coming to Spain, as usual, and enjoying his company. The passing of someone like Ken leaves the world a a greatly poorer place.
