We have had so many exciting, and some times 'too exciting' experiences sailing, all of which were encouraged by Ken. He provided us with first boat, a VERY tippy National 12 sailed off Clevedon in the hairy Bristol Channel which got us hooked. We progressed via a couple of more sedate GP 14s, and then into the bigger stuff, where you can always put the engine on, or go below and make tea! We have had some great sailing times, both in the UK, and further afield to the Med and Caribbean, and Ken was always interested in what boat it was, where we'd been and the detailed spec of the vessel, sails etc!! He will always be top of the toast list when we break out the rum ration! Much love and fond memories Di & Alan xx
